A film/video installation and performance by Andrea Mancuso and Jan Nagle connecting the oil disaster in the Gulf of Mexico to the waterfront on Lake Erie. This two channel video is a combination of hand processed super 8mm film and HD video. The work was shot on the shores of Lake Erie, NY and Ontario and the beaches of Pensacola, FL. The original work was projected onto the side of a building in Buffalo, NY and accompanied by a performance piece which included a distribution of chocolate “tar” balls.
